首輪第9順位，多倫多猛龍選擇了來自南卡羅來納大學(xué)科林-穆雷-博伊爾斯。被選中之后，攝像機(jī)拍到他站起來后，一邊搖頭一邊嘴里感嘆了一句：“法克……”

對此，博伊爾斯在接受記者采訪時澄清了這個事件：“純粹是難以置信。多倫多是我試訓(xùn)的第一支球隊(duì)。我的話沒有惡意，只有滿滿的感激。那一刻太不可思議了，這支球隊(duì)可是有著輝煌的歷史。”
