據(jù)消息人士透露，庫明加很有可能回歸勇士。包括球隊老板喬-拉科布在內(nèi)的多位高層都希望庫明加能夠回歸。盡管如此，NBA其他球隊普遍認(rèn)為，庫明加雖然會回到勇士，但雙方都有默契，他將在明年二月的交易截止日前被交易。

目前市場上對庫明加的興趣不大，因此短期內(nèi)讓他回到勇士對雙方都有好處。庫明加可以在2025-26賽季的前幾個月證明自己的價值，并重新吸引聯(lián)盟中其他球隊的關(guān)注；而勇士則可以充分利用他的全額薪水，而不是在先簽后換的情況下只能使用50%的薪水。
